Adena was the estate of Thomas Worthington, sixth governor of Ohio. The mansion has been restored to look much like it did when the family lived there.
Stroll through three terraces of flowers and vegetables. Looking east from the north lawn one can view the inspiration for the Great Seal of Ohio.
The Museum and Education Center features exhibits and stories of people connected to Adena to give a picture of life in Ohio in the early 1800's.
Hours of Operation: April-October; Wednesday-Saturday 9am-5pm & Sunday 12pm-5pm. The last tour is at 3:30pm.
