Dig deep into Ohio history at our outstanding museums!

The Sherman House Museum is the birthplace of Civil War Gen. William Tecumseh Sherman and U.S. Sen. John Sherman. Dating back to 1811, the Sherman House features an outstanding interactive Civil War exhibit and Sherman family treasures.

The Georgian Museum is one of the finest house museums in Ohio. Built for Samuel and Sarah Maccracken in 1832, it has been restored and furnished to reflect what it was like when one of the wealthiest families in Ohio lived there.

The museums are open for tours Tuesdays through Sunday through December 15. Private tours can be arranged that are tailored to students if booked at least two weeks in advance.

Admission for students 5-18 years old: $2 for one museum; $3 for both. Adults: $6 for one museum; $10 for both. Discounts for AAA members and seniors.
