Established in 1983 by mother of four, Judy Chosy, Smoky Row Children's Center is dedicated to providing the finest early childhood programs available to families in the community. The Center is proud to be one of a small number of schools accredited by the National Association for the Education of Young Children (NAEYC).
At Smoky Row there are frequent, positive, warm interactions between adults and children. There are planned learning activities and materials appropriate to the children's ages, development, and interests. There are specially trained teachers and enough adults to respond to individual children. It is also a healthy and safe environment for children with regular communication with parents, who are welcome visitors at any time.
Smoky Row Children's Center is a private child care center that was founded 35 years ago. The Center's philosophy is educating through play and exploration, and teaching children to care for their friends, families and community. The School Age Summer Camp includes arts and crafts, outdoor play, water play and several field trips and visitors. Camp enrollment can vary by days of the week, or just certain weeks to fit your summer schedule.
