The Columbus Arts Festival is a favorite welcome-to-summer event for the whole family! It’s the perfect free summer event to explore art, have fun and get inspired. This year’s Festival includes more than 250 talented artists, more than 100 performances on five stages, hands-on activities for kids and families, more than 40 food trucks, great food and drink and lots of fun.
Enjoy art projects at the Kids Hands-On Activities Village like painting, drawing, crafting, exploring musical instruments, performance and more. Whether you’re looking for fun activities for the kids or simply something fun for yourself, the Columbus Arts Festival provides for the whole family.
The Children’s and Teens’ Galleries are designed to help kids select their own piece of art! Festival artists donate the artwork, and each piece is priced for kids’ pocketbooks at $5 and under. The kid-sized tents (no peeking, parents!) let them shop a variety of art at their own pace and start their own art collection.
The Big Local Arts Village features Columbus-based artists selling their work and demonstrating their craft. Kids will love seeing blacksmiths hammering out metal sculptures, wood-turners carving and potters throwing clay on big wheels.
The Columbus Arts Festival is June 12-14, and all the activities are free, fun and safe. Visit the Festival website or pick up the festival map onsite to find performance schedules, artists and maps. We’ll see you there!
