POWELL - Powell Festival, Downtown Powell

Friday 5-11pm & Saturday Noon-11pm   

Each year, the Powell Festival provides family style fun including two days of musical performances, merchant displays, food vendors, animal visits, games, beer garden and so much more. The celebration ends Saturday night with free fireworks! The fun takes place at The Powell Village Green Park located at 47 Hall Street.  Parking is available on S. ASHVILLE - 4th of July Festival & Fireworks, Community Park. June 20-July 11

Ashville Come celebrate the 4th of July in Ashville. The fish sandwich is “As Big As Your Hand', and over 2 tons of delicious fish are sold each year. Parades, crafts, great carnival food & a giant midway by Triple Treat Shows makes Ashville the place to be. The Grand Parade kicks-off at 11:00 a.m. on the 4th, followed by FREE entertainment all day until our fantastic fireworks display at 10:00 p.m. So join us,as we celebrate our Nations independence 'Ashville Style'. Red, White & BOOM! Downtown Columbus Riverfront, Columbus 11 a.m. -11 p.m.

Ohio's largest Fourth of July celebration features a parade at 6 pm through downtown Columbus, Columbia Gas' Children's Park sponsored by Kidslinked and the Children's Hunger Alliance, Taste of BOOM! on Nationwide Boulevard, LIVE entertainment on 5 stages, and capped off by the annual fireworks display at 10 p.m..  www.redwhiteandboom.org

Annual community concert and fireworks display, hosted by Central Ohio Technical Colelge and The Ohio State University at Newark. A fun, family-friendly event featuring Sticks & Stones (6:30 pm) and the Newark Granville Symphony Orchestra (8 pm). Fireworks begin at 10 pm. REYNOLDSBURG - 4th of July Parade & Fireworks, Downtown Reynoldsburg.

Celebrate our nation’s independence on July 3rd at Civic Park.  Gates will open at 6:30pm.  There will be bounce houses, carnival type games and a free concert by the Alum Creek Singers for the entire family.  The City’s annual fireworks display will begin promptly at 9:45pm.  The Reynoldsburg Community Association will host the annual 4th of July parade Thursday, July 4th.  The parade will step off promptly at 10:00am. www.ci.reynoldsburg.oh.us

DELAWARE - July 4 in Delaware 3-11PM  

3 p.m. The annual Delaware July 4 parade, sponsored by Delaware County Farm Bureau. 3 p.m. start from the county fairgrounds liberty street gate, through the downtown on Sandusksy Street, to wilmer and Henry Streets. www.delawareohio.net

8 p.m. July 4 – Central Ohio Symphony will perform its annual Fourth of July concert at Ohio Wesleyan in Phillips Glen, located between University Hall and Phillips Hall. Lawn seating is free, and limited seating is available in front of the stage for $3. In case of rain, the event will be held inside Gray Chapel in University Hall, 61 S. DUBLIN - Independence Day Celebration, Downtown Dublin/Dublin Coffman High School, 11am - 11pm

Features the annual parade at 11am from Metro Center to Historic Dublin. The celebration continues at Dublin Coffman High School at 4:30 pm with the opening of the children's area. GAHANNA - Independence Day Celebration, Creekside, 5-11PM

Enjoy the Independence Day Celebration with the Creekside Family Day starting at 5 pm.  Finish off the day with Fireworks @ 10 p.m.


GROVE CITY - Grove City Independence Day Celebration, 5:30-10:30PM

GROVEPORT - 4th of July Celebration

HILLIARD - Hilliard 4th of July Celebration & Fireworks,Roger Reynolds Municipal Park, Hilliard 10AM-11PM

Join the fun at this year’s July 4 festivities in Roger A. Reynolds Municipal Park featuring live entertainment by Jacked Up, a 100% Pure Country Band! They promise to bring excitement, energy and first class musicianship to Hilliard’s 4th of July. The band begins playing at 6 p.m. on the amphitheater stage in Roger A. Reynolds Municipal Park. Jacked Up is sponsored by The City of Hilliard and the Hilliard Arts Council. The Recreation and Parks department is also putting together a 30-minute soundtrack with family appropriate music to go along with the fireworks display that starts at dusk.
The day starts at 10 a.m. with the Fourth of July parade, departing from the Franklin County Fairgrounds. Those interested in parade entry should contact Jerry Baum at (614) 873-7020 by July 1. The theme of this year’s parade is “Wave Old Glory For Past Present Future”. The parade awards are announced at 6 p.m. in the gym at the Community Center in Roger A. LANCASTER - 4th of July Fireworks Fairfield County Fairgrounds, Lancaster 10AM-11PM

Parade From 12:30 (after parade) until 10 pm the fairgrounds is alive with amusements, Rides-Rides and more Rides, also concessions (plenty of eats), and let us not forget entertainment including a secondary stage on the midway showcasing local talent. www.ci.lancaster.oh.us

NEW ALBANY - Independence Day Celebration & Fireworks 11AM-11PM  

Annual celebration features parade beginning at 11AM , festival in the commons and capped off with fireworks at dusk. Thanks to the New Albany Community Events Board, the July 4th Parade will begin near the New Albany Middle School parking lot at 10:00 am.  The parade route turns right onto Route 62, right onto Market Street, and right onto to Dublin-Granville Road back to the middle school parking lot.  Contact parade co-chair Laurie Clouse (lclouse@earthlink.net; 614.736.1666) for more information.

After the parade, the evening festival and fireworks program begins at the high school at 5:00 pm.  This year’s festival will include a community picnic, sponsored by the New Albany – Plain Township Historical Society and Community Events Board, at 5:30 pm.  A community panoramic picture will be taken at the picnic, reviving a tradition from 100 years ago.  Bring your picnic basket or buy food from local vendors, listen to Big Daddy Blue during the picnic, and then take part in the community photo at 6:30 pm!  After the community photo, the Street Players band will play from 7:00 – 10:00 pm, and fireworks will begin at 10:00 pm. http://www.newalbanycommunityevents.com/julyfourth.html

UPPER ARLINGTON - Party in The Park & Fireworks, Northam Park, 5-11PM  

Independence Day will be here before you know it.  This year’s celebration, including the parade, Party in the Park and fireworks, is shaping up to be one of the best ever. Since the 1920′s U.A. has made the Fourth of July a special community event.

The parade holds many memories for U.A. families over the years, with neighborhood floats, marching bands, antique cars and much more entertaining young and old alike. The parade route starts at the intersection for Northwest Blvd and Zollinger Rd. It runs south crossing Lane Ave and ending at the intersection of Northwest Blvd and North Star Rd.

The Party in Park continues to grow in popularity and is the perfect entree before one of the most spectacular fireworks displays you will ever see.  If your neighborhood or organization is interested in entering a float in this year’s parade, follow the link to learn more, as well as receive information on wake up calls the morning of the parade, securing a table for the Party in the Park and information on the fireworks show at Northam Park. www.uaca.org

WORTHINGTON - 4th of July Fireworks, Thomas Worthington High School, 4-11PM

Gather the family and come on down to the Worthington Family Picnic and Fireworks Celebration on the 4th of July! Bring your lawn chairs and blankets and enjoy a family picnic on the lawn of Thomas Worthington High School (TWHS) with food, live musical entertainment, Supergames and much more! The festivities begin at 4:00 p.m. and continue through the fireworks celebration until 11:00 p.m. The Worthington Family Picnic is sponsored by the Dublin-Worthington Rotary. The fireworks celebration begins at 10:00 p.m. The display can be viewed either from the Family Picnic location on the front lawn of TWHS, or at the football stadium to the west of the high school. www.worthington.org
